Tell us about yourself: What do you care about? What do you want to do?

I care about making business a force for economic, social and environmental change. I honor the places I work, live and visit by bringing fresh understanding and models to create a more compassionate, collaborative and happier world.

What’s the best thing you’ve ever done?

Going on an extended trek in Nepal and discovering, at 18,000’  that the world is a fragile place. I took that journey and figured out how to apply my skills and values toward making business a force for good. Was it the 100 miles in the backcountry that made me bolder, smarter and braver or the people I have worked with, the projects I stewarded and the organizations I help?

What three things do you need to be happy at work?

Collaboration, a creative environment, and the ability to see positive outcomes from my work.

What kind of work community do you thrive in?

I thrive in groups of people who are smart, excited and meticulous about the quality they are putting forward. I work best with people who can stick with tough challenges and be ready to accept failure and success with grace.

Here are the three jobs I can/will do:

  • Lead an entire organization through stellar strategic marketing.

  • All tasks that requires writing.

  • Talk colleagues off the ledge and work directly with clients and business development to make any and every client happy.

Here are the three things I won't do:

  • Admin assistant duties that are not necessary for my own contribution.

  • Write code beyond basic HTML.

  • Waste precious time with poor planning and failed critical thinking.
