TESTIMONIALS

"The traditional job market and professional social media don't work well for companies or people. The Meet Market tackles those problems at their root. It's a welcoming, transparent forum where employers and their future team members can reach out, build trust, and show what they're made of."  —Chris Nicholson, FutureAdvisor

“The participants of StaffUp completed a project in two days that revitalized our organization. Everyone here was blown away by their work.”

—Alex, Nonprofit Partner

“I never imagined that 48 hours would be sufficient time to launch a project that had me excited about new career possibilities.”

—Janet, Meet-n-GreetUp, Adventurer

“To come and work with people I would have never met allowed me to keep my skills sharp.”

—Kim, Meet-n-GreetUp Adventurer

The idea is for career adventurers to form a team, make something, and release it into the world.

Then everyone presents themselves and what they made to each other and anyone else who might be interested. At a typical weekend event, teams might spend all day Saturday making something and releasing it, Sunday morning preparing presentations, early afternoon presenting themselves and their work, and then late Sunday they party.

The people at a Meet-n-GreetUp should create three things:

  • a product,

  • a description of said product, and

  • a description of the people  who created it.
